These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of trainedbyturp.com and to the coaching, medical, lab, recovery and related services offered by Trained by Turp (“Trained by Turp,” “we,” “us” or “our”). Your membership agreement also applies to your membership. If these Terms and your membership agreement conflict, the membership agreement controls.
Our services
Trained by Turp offers personalized nutrition and fitness coaching and medical wellness services. Coaches guide nutrition, fitness and accountability. Clinical evaluations, lab interpretation and prescriptions are provided by licensed medical professionals. Included services vary by membership; treatment decisions are individualized by the provider.
- The free enrollment consultation is an introductory conversation about programs and is not a medical appointment.
- Purchasing a membership or treatment add-on does not guarantee that any treatment or prescription will be provided. Your provider determines whether a treatment is appropriate.
- Coaching is not medical care, and coaches do not diagnose, treat or prescribe.
- Our services are not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to enroll. Medical-service availability depends on provider arrangements and your location.
Memberships, billing and cancellation
- Memberships bill every 30 days and have a 90-day minimum commitment.
- Memberships renew automatically every 30 days after the minimum commitment at the regular recurring rate unless otherwise agreed.
- Cancellation requires 30 days’ notice under your membership agreement.
- A $200 one-time startup fee is charged at enrollment. Enrollment totals include the first 30-day payment and startup fee.
- Add-ons, including additional check-ins, treatments, lab panels and recovery access, are additional and billed as described on the Programs and Pricing page.
- We accept HSA and FSA. Eligibility depends on the service and your circumstances. Check with your plan administrator.
- Hormone Replacement screening is required before acceptance into treatment. If you prepay for the Hormone Replacement add-on and are found ineligible, your prepaid Hormone Replacement add-on fees will be refunded, excluding consultation and lab-testing fees, as described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Your separate membership remains subject to its own terms.
- Existing-client subscriptions remain unchanged unless a separate transition is agreed.

Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information, including health history relevant to your services.
- Consult your provider before starting, changing or stopping any exercise, nutrition, supplement or treatment plan if you have health concerns.
- Follow facility rules and staff instructions when using recovery equipment and facilities.
- Keep your client portal login secure and let us know of any unauthorized use.
Results and risk
Progress varies with your goals, health and consistency, and we do not guarantee specific results. Exercise, nutrition changes, recovery modalities and medical treatments involve risks. You participate voluntarily and accept the risks inherent in those activities, to the extent permitted by law.
Website use and content
Website content is provided for general information and is not medical advice. Trained by Turp owns or licenses the content, logos and materials on this website and in our programs; you may not copy or distribute them without permission. Third-party services linked from or embedded in this website are governed by their own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Trained by Turp is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last updated.
